Day 7 of Tasmanian trip - Devonport to Launceston ( via Sheffield, Deloraine and Beauty Point). After a lovely breakfast at the Drift cafe in Devonport we drove to Sheffield, also known as the town of murals. Have seen only a few of them as the weather suddenly turned nasty. It’s in vicinity of Mt Roland, so took the opportunity to take a few photos there... Passed through the town of Deloraine to purchase some food for a picnic, and eventually ended up in Beauty Point to visit the Platypus House and the Seahorse World. Both were very interesting, learned a few facts about these amazing animals. In Platypus House they let echidnas wonder freely among the people - it was fun watching them. Arrived to Launceston with a bit of spare time before our dinner reservation at Tres, which was very enjoyable indeed!
